Finding a recipe is not so difficult, making sure it tastes good when I don't know how spicy he likes things is the difficult part.

A noodle dish, I'm not sure how well that would travel in a basket, but I'll see what I can manage.

[It isn't like Hikaru knows very much about cooking. He's never had to cook a day in his life and even being here, his diet isn't the best because of that.]

Noodles don't tend to travel well for a picnic, Hikaru, and "cold and spicy" noodles are not exactly the most appetizing sounding.

As it would happen, Hikaru, I'm rather skilled at multitasking and befriending more than one person at a time.

That is, if you do wish to be friends? I certainly won't insist if you feel I am overstepping my boundaries on the matter?

Oh, I'm so glad. I'm still so new to befriending people, so I never know if I'm doing it correctly.

[Hikaru looks at this message and thinks about it for a moment. Honestly? It makes sense. Aurora is friendly in the type of way that comes off as sheltered.

now i'm curious, why is this new to you? consider this part of the befriending experience. getting to know each other and all that.

I was raised my entire life in the forest, away from people and the kingdom. It was just myself, my three aunts, and my animal friends. I lived in the forest for my protection.

I had only met one other person before I came here... Coming to Camelot I met more people in one day than I had in a lifetime.

So making friends... it's easy enough to make friends with animals, but I openly admit to having no experience with people.

Oh yes. Although, bears were not terribly frequent, wolves and lynx were much more common where I lived. They're all very sweet and friendly though, so long as you are respectful. [Aurora is an OG Disney Princess, no animals were ever going to be her source of harm.]

wolves are sweet? i didn't live in the wilderness, near the wilderness, and i've never been in the wilderness. so i'll be honest and say my experience is at zero but

They were to me, though I know that is not an adequate way to gauge an animal's behavior. But there wasn't a single animal in the forest I could not befriend.

Oh yes. Though not too often, they are nocturnal, after all. But I have run with a pack or two for the fun of it.

i guess all these worlds are different so maybe your wolves are different than mine but that's kind of awesome you just make friends with wolves.

Animals are easy to befriend, I have found people to be infinitely more complicated.

it's true. so you need to figure out the person you're talking to. if you know what kind of personality they have then it isn't so hard. people can be really easy sometimes.

Well, similar to them. Some of the fae here do exist back in my own home, like brownies and red caps, elves, gnomes, and other fair-folk found here. But I suppose my aunts are much more fond of being around and with humans.

My aunts have wands and wings, they can create things out of thin air and change curses and grant gifts.
